PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drawing device of a glass preform by which a glass rod without significant bend can be obtained stably in a process of drawing the glass rod of a smaller diameter by heating and drawing the glass preform.SOLUTION: The glass preform drawing device for producing a glass rod 10 of a smaller diameter by drawing a rod-like glass preform includes a heating furnace, a glass preform feed mechanism, and a take-off chuck of the glass rod 10. Core alignment guide devices 16 and 17 are equipped between the take-off chuck and the heating furnace, and a core alignment mechanism and a fixed mechanism are included for aligning the guide centers of the core alignment guide devices 16 and 17 to a shaft core of the glass rod 10 by moving the guide centers. |
