PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for bonding which can bond a matter to an addition-cured silicone rubber cured product, and a silicone rubber molded item formed by bonding a silicone rubber layer or an adherend to a silicone cured product containing a platinum catalyst. SOLUTION: The method for bonding is such that, on the surface of a silicone rubber cured product containing a platinum catalyst, an adhesive composition comprising a first component of a polyorganosiloxane which has vinyl groups bonded to silicon atoms in the molecule, is substantially linear and has a viscosity of 10-8,000,000 cps, and a second component of a polyorganohydrogensiloxane which has at the terminal at least one hydrogen atom bonded to more than two silicon atoms on an average in the molecule, is placed in a thickness of 0.001-10 mm, contact-bonded, and then allowed to stand at room temperature (20-30 deg.C) or heated to 30 deg.C or above.
