The electrical current sensor comprises a Rogowski coil 13 printed onto a PCB substrate material 10. The substrate is formed in a flat ring shape with a narrow split or gap 14 that separates terminal 16 and distal 17 ends of the Rogowski coil 13. The inherent resilient nature of the PCB substrate enables the split 14 to be opened to permit entry of a conductor C into the centre of the sensor so that current can be measured. |
