PAENIBACILLUS POLYMYXA STRAIN EFFECTIVE AGAINST ROOT ROT PATHOGEN OF GINSENG AND USE THEREOF

The present invention relates to Paenibacillus polymyxa ES-17 having antimicrobial activities with respect to ginseng root rot pathogen, and to uses thereof. The Paenibacillus polymyxa strain having antimicrobial activities with respect to ginseng root rot pathogen of the present invention has excellent antimicrobial activities with respect to ginseng root rot pathogen in comparison with microorganisms having antimicrobial activities with respect to the other ginseng root rot pathogens, and has high antimicrobial activities with respect to various ginseng root rot pathogens. Therefore, provided are: the Paenibacillus polymyxa strain; microbial formulation for controlling ginseng root rot pathogen, comprising culture fluid of the strain and a mixture thereof as an active ingredient; and a method for controlling ginseng root rot pathogen using the microbial formulation.
