PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector, the fitting guide of the connector body of which is not impaired nor broken during the fitting work, conduction state of a reinforcement metal fitting and the mating reinforcement metal fitting can be maintained reliably, and fitting to the mating connector is held reliably, and whereby the reliability is enhanced.SOLUTION: A connector body includes fitting guides formed at both ends in the longitudinal direction, and including fitting guides to be fitted to the mating fitting guides formed at both ends in the longitudinal direction of the mating connector body of the mating connector. A reinforcement metal fitting includes a pair of right and left contact arms, a pair of right and left side guides disposed in the fitting guide, a body extending in the width direction of the connector body, and a pair of right and left connection arms having proximal ends connected with both ends of the body.
