The purpose of the present invention is to provide a transparent film having improved water droplet slip characteristics. The present invention is a transparent film having a polysiloxane skeleton. This transparent film has a structure (a) whereby a fluorine-containing group is bonded to a silicon atom in the polysiloxane skeleton, said fluorine-containing group having a perfluoroalkyl group or a perfluoropolyether group on the free end thereof. In addition the transparent film has a slip speed of at least 0.2 mm/s for 120 µl of water droplets on an 8° incline. An ideal embodiment would have the fluorine-containing groups bonded to some silicon atoms in the polysiloxane skeleton in structure (a) and would have a structure (b) wherein a carbon fluoride-containing group or a hydrolysable silane oligomer residue is bonded to some of the remaining silicon atoms.
