The purpose of the present invention is to provide a humidifying device whereby the effect of an odor on a vehicle occupant at the start of operation is alleviated, and the configuration of an air passage is simplified. The humidifying device according to the present invention is for use in a vehicle, and is capable of performing humidifying operation for blowing humidified air humidified by moisture desorbed from an adsorbent, and dehumidifying operation for blowing dehumidified air from which moisture has been taken up by the adsorbent. The humidifying device is provided with an adsorbent module (4), a temperature adjusting device (3, 5, 7), a blower (2), and a control device (50). The adsorbent module has an adsorbent, and desorbs moisture adsorbed by the adsorbent into passing air and adsorbs moisture in passing air on the adsorbent. The temperature adjusting device adjusts the temperature of the adsorbent module or the temperature of air passing through the adsorbent module. The blower blows air in each of humidifying operation and dehumidifying operation. The control device controls the action of at least the blower. The control device controls the action of the blower so that the amount of air blown the next time operation is started after termination of humidifying operation or dehumidifying operation is less than the amount of air blown during normal humidifying operation. |
