摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for periodically monitoring a deflection amount distribution of a bridge or other structure, or for promptly monitoring the deflection amount distribution at any time, using an image for deflection measurement of the structure photographed at a timing derived from an image of an object to be photographed on the structure.SOLUTION: An image processing part 13 controls a digital camera 12 to photograph a bridge 20 when non-existence of vehicles is detected on the bridge 20 based on a video image of the bridge 20 taken by a video camera 11, and stores a still picture taken at the time in a database 14 as a reference image. The image processing part 13 also controls the digital camera 12 to photograph the bridge 20 when existence of a specified vehicle (an inspection vehicle or an object vehicle) is detected on the bridge 20 based on the video image, and stores the still picture taken at the time in the database 14 as a measurement image. A deflection amount distribution of the bridge 20 is measured and monitored, by comparing the reference image with the measurement image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
