PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum pump capable of appropriately adjusting a releasing amount (lift amount) of a reed valve defined by a stopper and a releasing time without increasing its cost.SOLUTION: A vane pump 1 comprises a discharging passage 7 for discharging gas in a pump chamber 2A at a housing 2, a plate-like reed valve 22 covering a discharging side outlet 7a of the discharging passage 7 in an openable or closable manner, a plate-like stopper 21 for defining an opening range of the reed valve 22, and a bolt 23 for fixing both the reed valve 22 and the stopper 21 to the housing 2. The stopper 21 comprises a fixing part 21b fixed to the housing 2 by the bolt 23, an abutment part 21a abutted against the housing 2 at a part near the discharging side outlet 7a rather than the fixing part 21b, and an extremity end 21c formed spaced apart from the discharging side outlet 7a, on an extremity end side rather than the abutment part 21a. The opening range of the reed valve 22 is defined by a shape in which the extremity end 21c is spaced apart from the discharging side outlet 7a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
