PURPOSE:To reduce shock of speed change in cotrolling an engine revolution output at the time of speed change with an automatic speed changer by determining an advance compensation value for an ignition timing corresponding to an octane value of fuel, and compensating the revolution output corresponding to the result of determination. CONSTITUTION:A revodlution output of an engine (a) is outputted to the drive wheel side through an automatic speed changer (b). Shcok of speed chande is reduced by this. In this constitution, an adbance compensation value an ignition timing corresponding to an octaine value of fuel supplied to the engine (a) is determined by a means (d). The engine output controlled at the time of speed change is compensated by a means (e) corresponding to the determined advance compensation value. If fuels of different octaine values are used, the revolution output of the engine (a) and the fastening timing for friction elements in the automatic speed changer (b) are set compatible with each other constantly, thereby shock by speed change is reduced. |
