The invention relates to a design method for the screwdriver. The method comprises arranging a first holder to the head portion of the handle; arranging a limit recess proximate the tool bit to the tool bar; providing a stopping sleeve, which is penetrated by the tool bar and moves freely along the tool bar; producing magnetic force to keep the stopping sleeve at the totally retracted position; using a limit recess to keep the stopping sleeve at the totally stretched out position and not to get out of the tool bar; providing a certain distance projected by the stopping sleeve from the tool bit. The invention is to save the step of replacing the screw, when thescrewdriver is to move out of the mounting hole, the screw is separated from the tool bit and is kept in the mounting hole due to the projecting part of the stopping sleeve.
