The present invention relates to a portal drive of a low-floor vehicle axle having a gear device driven by a differential (1) and disposed in a portal housing (4). The gear device includes a helical-gear-type drive gear (2) disposed in a drive shaft (5) capable of being rotationally driven by the differential (1), wherein the drive gear is engaged with middle gears (3) for driving a driven gear (23). The drive shaft (5) is guided to the drive gear (2) from the differential (1) through an opening (9) of the portal housing (4). The drive gear (2) and the drive shaft (5) are integrally formed as a drive gear-shaft unit (6), wherein the drive gear-shaft unit (6) has a ring shoulder (16) at a differential side and the drive gear-shaft unit is axially supported at a stop part of a ring type fixed and inserted into the opening (9) of the portal housing (4) having a cross section larger than the drive gear (2) by the ring shoulder. |
