The present invention relates to a method to reliably detect a defect inside a hose processed on a machine component. According to the present invention, the method comprises: a step of building at least one defect classification model using image characteristics by a plurality of defects from a plurality of images about the inside of a hole; a step of photographing an image about the inside of the hole to be measured through a photographing part; a step of setting an interest area for defect detection from the photographed image; a step of primarily detecting the defect inside the hole from the image of the set interest area using the built defect classification model; a step of reversing a shade of the image about the area of the primary detected defect; a step of extracting a pixel brightness difference between a background and the defect from the reversed image; and a step of secondarily detecting the defect using the brightness difference. As such, the present invention is capable of preventing an accident.
