PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle drive unit which can elongate a distance between an engine and a drive shaft in a fore-and-aft direction, and can enlarge capacities of motors.SOLUTION: A vehicle drive unit 1 having an engine 10 and motors 60 as traveling drive sources comprises: the engine 10 which is arranged so that an engine output shaft 11 extends to a vehicle width direction; a right drive shaft 91b which is arranged while extending to the vehicle width direction, and communicates with a right drive wheel 94b; two or more of the motors 60 which are arranged so that motor output shafts 61 extend to the vehicle width direction in a position included in a range of the vehicle width direction in which the engine 10 is arranged around the right drive wheel 91b; an integrated gear 81 which is arranged on the right drive wheel 91b, and engaged with motor output gears 65 arranged at the motor output shafts 61; and a hollow shaft part 73 which extends to the vehicle width direction, is externally fit to the right drive shaft 91b, communicates with the integrated gear 81 at a right end, and made to communicate with left and right drive shafts 91a, 91b at a left end.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
