A hammer action unit supporting apparatus according to the present invention comprises: a first supporting block combined to a work table so that a position thereof is adjustable back and forth, and having a first support surface in contact with a left end portion of a shank rail of a hammer action unit behind the shank rail and a left supporting surface in contact with the left end portion of the shank rail on the left of the shank rail; a second supporting block combined to the work table so that a position thereof is adjustable in back and forth and from side to side, and having a second supporting surface in contact with a right end portion of the shank rail behind the shank rail; a right supporting member provided on the work table to be movable from side to side and being able to be in contact with a right side of a right action bracket when moving leftward; one pair of pressurizing members arranged over the work table to be movable between a pressurization position and a retreat position, wherein the pressurization position is provided for the pressurizing members to inhibit upward and forward movements of each action bracket of the hammer action unit by pushing a front portion of the action bracket, and the retreat position is provided to allow the upward and forward movements of the action bracket; and a pressurizing member moving mechanism configured to move each of the pressurizing members between the pressurization position and the retreat position. |
