PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key for a cabinet handle lock that prevents coincidental unlocking with an inappropriate key, by changing a key form through a simple process.SOLUTION: A plane handle lock 4 is a cylinder lock having a plurality of tumblers 41 disposed, the tumbler undergoing a degenerating operation when a key 1 is inserted into a key hole. The key 1 has a protrusion 12a formed at a tip on a side with a plurality of key grooves 1a to be engaged with the tumbler 41, at a portion away from a position of the tumbler 41 when the key is inserted in the key hole. The protrusion 12a is formed at a same interval as the key groove 1a, so as to continue with the key groove 1a, with a height almost equivalent to a step of the key groove.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
