PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inventory management system that efficiently updates inventory information.SOLUTION: An inventory management system uses an electronic mail for delivery of inventory update information and transmits it from a terminal device. An information processing device receives the electronic mail at a preset timing; and updates inventory information of a commodity on the basis of the inventory information included in the electronic mail, at the timing of receiving the electronic mail. The electronic mail is received at the preset timing and the inventory information is updated; by arbitrarily setting the frequency of updating the inventory information, the inventory information can be efficiently updated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
