PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a housing of a transmission which secures rigidity while suppressing an increase of weight.SOLUTION: In a front housing 110 of a transmission which is connected to an engine, a reinforcing rib is not formed at an external peripheral face 110a of the housing 110, and a left-side face portion P2 and a right-side face portion P3 other than an upper face portion P1 are formed thinner in thickness than the upper face portion P1 which is located in a piston reciprocation direction D of the engine out of a peripheral wall 112 of the housing 110. A case 150 which accommodates a gear change gear for supporting a power transmission shaft for transmitting the rotation of the engine to drive wheels, arranged at the power transmission shaft, and gear-changing the rotation of the engine is arranged in the front housing 110 integrally with the housing 110, and a rib 160 is arranged between an external peripheral face 150a of the case 150 and an internal peripheral face 110b of the housing 110.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 |
