Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for compensating a phase difference of a clock signal between chips in a multi-chip system. According to an aspect of an embodiment of the present invention, the purpose of the present invention is to provide the method and the apparatus for compensating a phase of a clock signal between chips to communicate without transceiving the clock signal when communicating between the chips in a multi-chip system. The phase difference compensating method comprises: a first process of receiving a first reference signal synchronized with a phase of a clock signal inside a transceiving chip from the transceiving chip; a second process of generating a second reference signal synchronizing the first reference signal with a phase of a clock signal inside a receiving chip; a third process of generating a plurality of reference signals synchronizing the first reference signals received in the first process with different phases; and a fourth process of comparing the reference signals generated in the third process with the second reference signal, and modifying a phase synchronizing each of the reference signals in the third process. |
