摘要 The present invention relates to a structure for fixing a light-emitting diode (LED) array for an edge emission type backlight unit, which can be stably fixed to an LED housing while maintaining a predetermined gap between the LED array and a light guide plate. An assembly structure of an LED array for fixing, to a surface of a vertical wall of the LED housing, a substrate on which a plurality of LED packages are mounted includes a fixing clip having a first vertical part, a first horizontal part which extends horizontally from an upper end of the first vertical part, and a second vertical part which extends downwardly from an end of the first horizontal part, wherein a window is formed at the second vertical part so as to expose the LED packages. Thus, the first vertical part of the fixing clip is in contact with the outer surface of the vertical wall of the LED housing, and the second vertical part pressurizes the inner surface of the substrate so as to fix the LED array to the LED housing while exposing the LED packages through the window.
