The invention relates to a method for separating faulty network sections of a low voltage network from additional network sections of the low voltage network, characterized in that a plurality of network sections are each separated from each other by a power switch (5, 6), wherein adjacent power switches (5, 6) have a wireless data connection (8) to each other in order to determine a line difference and disconnect the network section therebetween from the low voltage network, if a specified differential value of the currents which flow through adjacent power switches (5, 6) is exceeded, which differential value corresponds to an error. An extensive failure of the voltage supply in case of fault can thus be reduced.
