The invention relates to a bipolar surgical instrument comprising: a handpiece (102) that has a fixed branch (110) and a displaceable branch (114) for actuating a first tool (106) and/or a second tool (108) at an end, distal to the handpiece (102), of said bipolar surgical instrument (100); a tubular guide device (104) in which, on the inner side, a force transmission device (120) is arranged so as to be displaceable in the longitudinal direction and/or rotationally, said force transmission device (120) being coupled, on the proximal side, to the fixed branch (110) and/or the displaceable branch (114) of the handpiece (102) and being coupled, on the distal side, to said first tool (106) and/or second tool (108); and a connection device (128) on which said tubular guide device (104) can be coupled to the handpiece (102) in an insertable and detachable manner, said insertable and detachable coupling, when in the coupled state, simultaneously providing: a holding force for holding the tubular guide device (104) in said connection device (128); a bipolar electrical contact on the distal side of the hand piece (102), for parts of the surgical instrument requiring energy; and degrees of freedom for a longitudinal and/or a rotational movement of the tubular guide device and/or force transmission device (120). |
