A frame of an image forming device comprises: a bottom board provided on the bottom surface of the frame; a first to a third installation unit for installing the image forming device that are disposed on at least three locations on the bottom board; a first recess having the first installation unit provided therein and extending from the first installation unit toward the inside of the bottom board in the planar direction of the bottom board; a second recess having the second installation unit provided therein, extending from the second installation unit toward the inside of the bottom board in the planar direction of the bottom board, and communicating with the first recess; a third recess having the third installation unit provided therein, extending from the third installation unit toward the inside of the bottom board in the planar direction of the bottom board, and communicating with the first recess and the second recess; and a reinforcing material provided at a region where the first, second, and third recesses communicate with each other for reinforcing the bottom board by being connected to the portions of the bottom board sandwiched between respective recesses, the reinforcing material having an area smaller than that of the bottom board. |
