PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a burden on an external spherical substance or the like by effectively absorbing an impact load without impairing the absorption performance of the input impact load by controlling a deformation mode of a garnish when the external spherical substance or the like is applied on a front hood from an upper part of a vehicle.SOLUTION: In a structure of a cowl top garnish 4 which is arranged between a lower end of front window glass 3 and a rear end of a front hood 6, has an upper end part 41 and front face part 42 which extend along a vehicle width direction, and arranged so that the upper end part 41 abuts on a hood inner panel 61 via a seal material 8, the front face part 42 is an inclined face which extends toward a lower side of a vehicle rear part, and has an upper face part 42a and a lower face part 42b which extend to a vehicle width direction, and a step part 43 extending to the vehicle width direction, and also extending to a vehicle fore-and-aft direction is arranged between the upper face part 42a and the lower face part 42b. A panel face part 61a which is arranged while facing the seal member 8, and substantially orthogonal to an inclination direction of the front face part 42 is arranged at the hood inner panel 61.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
