A nucleic acid which contains coding regions of genes that respectively encode four nuclear reprogramming factors OCT4, KLF4, SOX2 and LIN28 and that are linked to one another through sequences encoding self-cleaving peptides, and which does not contain any encoding region of an MYC family gene; a vector carrying the nucleic acid; a cell containing the nucleic acid or the vector; and a method for producing a pluripotent stem cell, which is characterized by comprising a step of introducing the nucleic acid or the vector into a somatic cell. |
