The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a ceiling material on which patterns are printed where a metal plate, which consists of an aluminum steel sheet or an aluminum coated steel sheet, is processed to have an adhesive layer and a clear layer so as to easily form a printed layer with various patterns. The method for manufacturing a ceiling material on which patterns are printed comprises: a first step of painting a metal plate to form a painting layer; a second step of attaching an adhesive film to the metal plate on which the printing layer is formed in the first step; a third step of cutting the metal plate on which the adhesive film is attached in the second step to a predetermined size; a fourth step of shaping an edge side of the metal plate cut in the third step; a fifth step of folding an edge of the metal plate shaped in the fourth step; a sixth step of removing the adhesive film from the metal plate folded in the fifth step so as to form the adhesive layer caused by remaining adhesive components; and a seventh step of forming a printed layer with a predetermined pattern on the adhesive layer of the metal plate on which the adhesive components remain.
