Disclosed are an operation execution method and device. The method includes that: a leaf node determines that the leaf node needs to execute a predetermined operation (Step 202) ; and the leaf node notifies an upstream node on a multicast path where is the leaf node locates, to execute the predetermined operation on a branch path where the leaf node locates (Step 204). According to the disclosed embodiment, it is solved the problem in the related art that the multicast service is processed at the root node, which may cause influence on the normal work on the service of other branch paths, and the maintainer can conveniently perform the performance measurement on the multicast branch path without influence on the use of other users over the service. |
