Additionally, it is determined the selenium content and by comprehensive picture of the content of non-enzymatic antioxidants of antioxidant system it is judged on the extent of the negative impact of nitrate load. Animals in which the selenium content is in the range 46,0-55,0 g / l, vitamin A - in the range 0,025-0,90 ± 0.82 ± 0.035 mmol / l, vitamin Ε - within 3,7 ± 0,15-4,2 ± 0,18 mmol / l, are considered clinically healthy. Animals in which the selenium content is in the range 35-43 g / l, vitamin A content in the range 0,57-0,59 mmol / l, vitamin Ε within 2.6-3.9 mmol / l are considered partially affected by the influence of nitrates and nitrites, which are in need of correction of non-enzymatic antioxidant defense system of the body, in the use of natural or synthetic antioxidants, vitamins.
