PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchange tube having a longer service life.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a heat exchanger including a plate laminated body (2) composed of a plurality of paired long plates (32), in particular, an exhaust gas cooler or a supply air cooler. In the heat exchangers, two plates (18, 18') connected to each other, form a first fluid passage (4) therebetween, a second fluid passage (30) is formed between two paired plates, and the plates of the paired plates have U-shaped bottom portions and raised side walls, and are vertically positioned to each other to define the first flow channel. One of the paired plates has a connecting portion at its end face, and the connecting portion is used in an edge bending processing around an end face of the other plate. The edge bending processing of the connecting portion is performed at a bottom portion of the plate, and the edge bending processing portion of the connecting portion is extended into a side wall of the plate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
