PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-sound wave conversion component in which a heat transmission between a sound wave transmittance medium inside the cell passing holes and the wall surfaces of the passing holes is improved and a heat-sound wave conversion unit constituted by the heat-sound wave conversion component and a heat exchanger.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a heat-sound wave conversion component 1 having partition walls 11 for partitioning and forming a plurality of cells 14 passing from a first end surface to a second end surface, the plurality of cells 14 being filled with working fluid for transmitting sound wave due to vibration, in which heat received and given among partition walls 11 and the working fluid and energy of sound wave due to vibration of the working fluid are converted to each other. A hydraulic diameter HD defined by HD=4×S/C is 0.4 mm or less where S is a section area of the cell 14 perpendicular to a passing direction and C is a peripheral length of the cross section, an opening ratio at each of the end surfaces of the heat-sound wave conversion component 1 is 60% or more and 93% or less, and an arithmetic average roughness [Ra] at the surface of the partition walls 11 is 3 μm or more and 20 μm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
