PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent erroneous lighting performed by luminous elements on common lines initially scanned at the start of a first scanning.SOLUTION: A display device includes: a plurality of luminous elements; a plurality of common lines connected to one ends of the plurality of the luminous elements; a plurality of drive lines connected to the other ends of the plurality of the luminous elements; a source driver to scan the plurality of the common lines in a first scan period; and a sink driver to draw a current from one or more drive lines connected to luminous elements to be turned on among the plurality of the drive lines. In the display device, the source driver scans all or some of the plurality of the common lines in a second scan period shorter than the first scan period.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1B |
