PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus in which an available coolant flow rate is used efficiently and a risk of coolant boiling is reduced.SOLUTION: The invention relates to an apparatus for supplying a coolant to a closed fluid circuit, particularly for an exhaust gas cooler of an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle, comprising a connecting stub (6). The connecting stub is designed for insertion into a coolant connection (5).
