PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device and a projector equipped with the light source device with which, even when a plurality of light sources emitting light of different wavelength regions are used, it is possible to make chromatic aberration less liable to occur during transmission through a condenser lens, without incurring an increase in weight or cost.SOLUTION: The light source device has a plurality of light sources 10 including at least a light source for emitting the light of a first wavelength region and a light source for emitting the light of a second wavelength region, and an optical lens 20 for condensing the lights emitted from the plurality of light sources 10, the optical lens 20 having a plurality of lens regions formed in shape of a concentric circle around one main axis and having a prescribed width in the radial direction, the plurality of lens regions including a first lens region having a certain focal distance for the light of the first wavelength region and a second lens region having a certain focal distance for the light of the second wavelength region.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
