PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device capable of miniaturizing a pixel and a method of manufacturing the liquid crystal display device.SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, a liquid crystal display device 10 includes a plurality of pixels 12. Each of the pixels 12 includes a switch SW1 which samples sub-frame data, a storage part SM1 which constitutes an SRAM cell 201 together with the switch SW1 and holds the sub-frame data sampled by the switch SW1, a switch SW2 which samples the sub-frame data held by the storage part SM1, a storage part DM2 which constitutes a DRAM cell 202 together with the switch SW2 and holds the sub-frame data sampled by the switch SW2, and a liquid crystal display element LC. The threshold voltages of transistors MP2 and MN2 constituting the switch SW2 are larger than the threshold voltage of a transistor MN1 constituting the switch SW1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
