PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope system capable of extracting and displaying a blood vessel located at specific depth, and to provide a processor device, a method for operating an endoscope system, and a method for operating a processor device.SOLUTION: An endoscope system 10 includes a light source 20 for generating illumination light, an imaging sensor 48 for imaging an observation object irradiated with illumination light, an image signal acquisition part 53 for acquiring a B1 image signal corresponding to violet light V, and a B2 image signal corresponding to blue light B, an arithmetic image signal generation part for generating an arithmetic image signal by using the B1 image signal and the B2 image signal, a resolution reduction processing part for performing resolution reduction processing for reducing the resolution of the arithmetic image signal, and an image generation part for allocating any one of the B1 image signal and the B2 image signal to a luminance channel or a green channel, and generating an image obtained by allocating the arithmetic image signal of reduced resolution to the other channels.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
