PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing conjugated diene such as butadiene more stably and in high yield with caulking on a catalyst being suppressed while avoiding an explosion risk of a reaction product gas.SOLUTION: The method for producing conjugated diene comprises steps of: feeding to a reactor a mixed gas obtained by mixing a raw material gas containing monoolefin having 4 or more carbon atoms, and a gas containing molecular oxygen; and obtaining a reaction product gas containing corresponding conjugated diene generated by an oxidative dehydrogenation reaction of the monoolefin containing 4 or more carbon atoms in the presence of a catalyst. The reaction product gas has a butadiene concentration of 3 to 9.5 vol.%, an oxygen concentration of 2.0 to 8.0 vol.%, and carbon dioxide of 1 vol.% or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
