PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinding wheel having grooves and a manufacturing method for the same capable of maintaining a grinding wheel strength even when its diameter is reduced by wear of the grinding wheel, and free of wear in the grooves even when the grinding wheel is worn.SOLUTION: A grinding wheel H having grooves is a porous abrasive wheel comprising a plurality of short bar-like or arc shaped-hollow grooves 2, 3, 4 arranged discontinuously along circumferences L1, L2, L3 in the grinding wheel, and also randomly arranged in multiple layers in a radial direction from the axis to the outer diameter for each of the circumferences L1, L2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
