PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning method which can suppress useless consumption of an agent.SOLUTION: A method of cleaning a membrane module 2 of a clarifier 1 which manufactures permeated water W2 by eliminating a pollutant contained in water to be treated W1 by introducing the water to be treated W1 into the membrane module 2 includes: a filtering process of obtaining the permeated water W2 by permeating through the membrane module 2; a backwash process of back-washing the membrane module 2 with a part of the permeated water W2; and an agent cleaning process of measuring a load in the filtering process and making a cleaning liquid W6 containing a predetermined agent permeate the membrane module 2 instead of the backwash process when the load exceeds a predetermined threshold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
