From the prior art, heat pumps are known which essentially consist of a condenser, an evaporator, a compressor, and a throttle therebetween. Here, it is required to expend energy in the compressor in order to ensure functionality of the system. The invention takes advantage of gravitation for this, as a result of which a compression already occurs in a thermal media column, such that the supply of external energy can be omitted. Rather, the thermal and potential energy present in nature is used to operate the heat pump. |
