The invention relates to a method for optimizing a vacuum‑cleaning system having a cylinder vacuum cleaner and a filter bag, wherein the cylinder vacuum cleaner has a motor/fan unit with a motor/fan characteristic curve, a filter‑bag‑accommodating space, a hose, a tube, a connection stub for the filter bag, and a floor nozzle, and wherein the filter bag comprises a nonwoven filter material, having the following step: co‑ordinating the motor/fan characteristic curve and size, shape and material of the filter bag and size and shape of the filter‑bag‑accommodating space and length and internal diameter of the tube and length and internal diameter of the hose and internal diameter of the connection stub for the filter bag and floor nozzle such that, with standard suction on a standard Wilton‑type carpet with the filter bag empty, the vacuum‑cleaning system establishes an efficiency of at least 24%, preferably at least 28%, most preferably at least 32%, wherein standard suction is carried out in accordance with EN Standard 60312 and the standard Wilton‑type carpet is provided in accordance with EN Standard 60312. The invention also relates to a vacuum‑cleaning system which has a cylinder vacuum cleaner and a filter bag and is developed and/or produced using said method. |
