The invention relates to a hobbing machine (1), comprising a workpiece spindle (2) for rotating a workpiece (5) about an axis of rotation (RA), a hobber head (7) for the hob machining of the workpiece (5), a chamfering device (19) for chamfering the workpiece (5), and at least one cutting tool (15a, 15b) for peeling primary and/or secondary ridges of the workpiece (5). The invention is characterized in that a pivot arm (16) is formed on the hobbing machine (1), which can be displaced on a pivot arm carriage (17) along a direction of travel (z) parallel to the axis of rotation (RA) of the workpiece spindle (2) and which is pivotable at the pivot arm carriage (17) about an axis (SA) running parallel to the direction of travel (z), and in that the chamfering device (19) and the at least one cutting tool (15a, 15b) are arranged on the pivot arm (16). The invention provides a hobbing machine, by which hobbed, chamfered and deburred workpieces can be produced with little structural outlay. |
