The embodiments of the invention relate to a network-based method for controlling access of a client network node (MS) to a radio communication system. The network-based method contains determining information (MS-ID-MMW, RAP1, RAW-INFO) for setting up a second radio link between the client network node (MS) and the radio communication system when the radio communication system has access to the client network node (MS) via a first radio link (IMT-RL). The network-based method further contains transmitting to the client network node (MS) via the first radio link (IMT-RL) the information (MS-ID-MMW, RAP1, RAW-INFO) for setting up the second radio link between the client network node (MS) and the radio communication system. The embodiments further relate to a client-based method for controlling access of the client network node (MS) to the radio communication system. The client-based method contains receiving via the first radio link (RL1) the information (MS-ID-MMW, RAP1, RAW-INFO) for setting up the second radio link between the client network node (MS) and the radio communication system. The client-based method further contains configuring and operating a transceiver of the client network node (MS) for accessing the radio communication system via the second radio link based on the received information (MS-ID-MMW, RAP1, RAW-INFO). The embodiments even further relate to a network sub-system, to the client network node (MS) and to a computer program for controlling access of the client network node (MS) to the radio communication system. |
