The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a wheel rim and a wheel rim manufactured thereby, and more specifically, to a method for manufacturing a wheel rim, comprising: a rim forming step of bonding a plate material to form a rim; and a bead forming step of deforming the section of the rim using a roll. According to the present invention, a manufacturing process is effectively designed, thereby saving manufacturing costs and reducing work time.
