The invention discloses an elevator system without a machine room. The elevator system comprises a machine (16) installed on a rail and a pulley assembly (32) used for holding a rail (38) in an elevator shaft. The pulley assembly of the elevator system comprises single pulley parts (54) capable of rotating along a public axial line. At least two pulley parts are separated along an axle (50), and part of the rail stretches towards and out of the axial line and then is tangent to the external diameter of the pulley part to form a plane. |
