The present invention relates to an inductive displacement sensor, and a control method thereof. According to the present invention, the inductive displacement sensor of the present invention comprises: a power supply unit to supply AC power; an inductance sensor where an inductance occurs in case of supplying AC power, including a first coil to receive AC power from the power supply unit; a pair of second coils where a voltage is abandoned when power is supplied to the first coil; and a coupler distanced from the second coils to change a phase difference of the voltage signal occurring in a pair of second coils; a signal processing unit connected to the pair of second coils to remove a noise signal from the voltage signal and to extract a preset frequency substance; and a control unit to calculate the phase difference of two voltage signals received from the signal processing unit to output as an analog signal and a digital signal respectively, to compare the analog signal and digital signal, and to output a disorder signal when the difference between the two signals exceeds a preset range.
