PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide modeling particles including a water-soluble material, from which a support body removable by a water-containing solvent can be formed in a process for manufacturing a three-dimensional object while the particles have high fluidity in a powder state.SOLUTION: The modeling particles are used for manufacturing a three-dimensional object and each particle includes a core 12 and a shell 11 that covers at least a portion of the surface of the core 12. The core 12 contains most abundantly the water-soluble material. The water solubility of a material included most abundantly in the shell 11 is less than the water solubility of the water-soluble material included in the core 12. The coverage of the shell 11 on the surface of the core 12 is 40 to 95%; and the molding particle contains the water-soluble material by 70% or more on a volume basis.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
