In this firefighting training apparatus in which a gas discharge pipe 4 is immersed in water stored in a storage part 1a of a device body 1, and combustion gas discharged into the water from the gas discharge pipe 4 and floating above the water surface is combusted, a plurality of gas burners 7 are provided in the storage part 1a. Each gas burner 7 is configured such that the height of combustion flame rising from the gas burner 7 is higher than the combustion flame of combustion gas floating on the water surface.
