PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operating method of a hemodialyzer and a hemodialyzer therefor capable of preventing dialysate from overflowing from a replacement fluid port to operate a dialysis procedure sanitarily.SOLUTION: A hemodialyzer 1 includes a dialyzer 2 to perform hemodialysis, a blood circuit 3 connected to the dialyzer, a dialysate circuit 4 connected to the dialyzer, a replacement fluid port 31 provided in the dialysate circuit and openable with a lid member, a replacement fluid path 6 connected at one end to the blood circuit and at the other end to the replacement fluid port, and a water removal means (water removal pump 37) to remove water when a dialysis treatment is performed. After a dialysate replacement step filling the dialysate circuit with dialysate, a negative pressure forming step is performed to make a pressure in the dialysate circuit negative by using the water removal pump, the lid member is taken out the replacement fluid port to change a closed state to an opened state, and the replacement fluid path is connected to the replacement fluid port in the opened state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
