PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent drive torque shortage in an evacuation travel mode, regarding a vehicle control device.SOLUTION: A vehicle control device includes: a fault detection unit 52 detecting a fault of each part in a vehicle 1; an evacuation travel mode execution determination unit 53 determining whether an evacuation travel mode for restricting a travel speed of the vehicle 1 is necessary or not, on the basis of the fault detected by the fault detection unit 52; and a vehicle speed restriction FB control unit 54 executing vehicle speed restriction control for controlling the travel speed of the vehicle 1 to a predetermined restriction vehicle speed when the evacuation travel mode execution determination unit 53 determines that the evacuation travel mode is necessary.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
