An incandescent pressure lamp operated by liquid fuel under air pressure has a lower casing member 14 which bears only partly on the fuel container and is provided only with apertures for the vaporizer control hand shaft and if necessary, a preheater. The bottom edge 15 of the lower casing member 14 has a number of recesses 16 of optional height and width and bears on the fuel tank 1 by means of the intervening portions of its bottom edge 15. The lower casing member 14 is held in position by a centering member 3 and a screw 4. In alternative arrangements the bottom edge of the lower casing member 14 is straight and bears on a number of bad heatconducting distance pieces placed between its bottom edge and the fuel container, Fig. 3 (not shown), or a number of raised portions provided on the fuel container, Fig. 4 (not shown).</p> |
